Grow Your Own Herb Garden

Hands-on Workshop

This is a hands-on workshop where you will have the opportunity to plant herb seedlings into pots and label them to take home.

All materials will be provided, including; soil, herb seedlings, pots, labels, and use of tools.

You will learn about:
  • Tools and equipment
  • Preparing soil
  • Transplanting seedlings
  • Pruning
  • Plant care/fertilizing
  • Harvesting herbs
  • Using and storing fresh herbs

WHERE: The Markstay-Warren Community Centre, 39 Lafontaine Street, Warren (use library entrance to access the boardroom)
COST: $75 per person ~ $25 deposit required to reserve your spot
